Curtis Hill Sr.

It is with a heavy heart and fond remembrance that we announce the passing of Curtis Hill Sr., a beacon of love, light, and laughter in our lives. Born on April 28, 1965, in Rockville, MD, Curtis lived an extraordinary life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. As Mark Twain once said, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Curtis found his calling early in life and pursued it with an intense passion that was infectious to all around him.

Curtis was a devoted husband to his wife, Teresa Hill, whom he married on May 17, 1984. Their bond was a testament to the enduring nature of love, a union that epitomized the quote by Nicholas Sparks, "The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more." He was also a brilliant Marketing Manager in a renowned software company, where he brought his creativity and innovative thinking to the table, leading countless successful campaigns. His colleagues always admired his ability to merge logic with creativity. In his retirement, Curtis enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, often found basking in the glow of the morning sun with a book in hand, or engaging in thought-provoking conversations with friends.

Curtis's radiant spirit will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Teresa, and his cherished sister, Tiffany. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cap and Donna Hill, who welcomed him into this world and taught him the essence of kindness and courage. Curtis Hill Sr., a man of character, charm, and charisma, leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. As Helen Keller said, “What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”
